KURUKSHETRA, MARCH 31 . People of Kurukshetra could not believe news about the deaths of two Haryana Ministers - O.P. Jindal and Surender Singh -- in a chopper accident. The bells starting ringing in the Jindal house on the Pipli Road and the officials became panicky till they confirmed the news from their sources.

The two ministers had died in a helicopter accident in which they were flying from Chandigarh to Delhi. People rushed to the Jindal house to pay their condolences but there was none other than the attendants as the officials had already rushed to the accident spot at Saharanpur.

Kurukshetra district Congress president Pawan Garg and former Minister, Ram Prakash, sat for condolence. A number of Congressmen left for Saharanpur when they confirmed the death of O.P. Jindal. The tricolour flag was removed and so other flags from the Congress Bhawan and other places which were put up to welcome the Haryana Chief Minister, B.S. Hooda, two days ago.
