A subsidy of Rs. 14.98 crores was disbursed last year for setting up 897 units, thereby generating employment for 17,000 persons, he said.
Scope in Cuddapah
Cuddapah district had scope for setting units based on banana and other products which had export potential, Mr. Rao stated. Bankers were coming forward to disburse loans for such units in the district, he added. The Joint Director of the Andhra Pradesh Productivity Council, M.
