MYSORE, MARCH 31. Officials of the Central Crime Branch have arrested a man and recovered stolen goods from him. On a tip-off, the officials arrested Manjunath of Channarayapatana near the market here on Tuesday and recovered articles worth Rs. 60,000 from him. The accused allegedly barged into a house at K.R. Mohalla here in January and took away articles worth Rs. 25,000, including a gold chain. Similarly, he had stolen gold jewellery worth Rs. 30,000 from a house on Ramanuja Road. He entered a printing press on Lakshmi Vilas Road in February and took away silver articles, the police said.
