Crompton Greaves bags order from NTPC

CHENNAI: Crompton Greaves has secured a transformer contract valued at $19.50 million (about Rs. 85 crores) from National Thermal Power Corporation. According to a release, the scope of the contract includes supplying, installing and commissioning of 11 numbers of 765 kV class generator transformers for stage-1 of the Sipat Super Thermal Power project in Chattisgarh, according to a release.
