ABVP campaign against summer classes

By Our Special Correspondent

TIRUPATI. March 31. ABVP, the BJP's students wing, has launched a campaign to bring pressure on the corporate educational institutions not to tax students in the name of special classes during the summer vacation.

The local ABVP cadres who later presented a memorandum in this connection to the Educational Officer referred to the corporate schools burdening students with bridge-courses, intensive coaching classes among other things notwithstanding a ban imposed on the same by the Board of Intermediate Education and urged the schools to be sympathetic towards the young students and let them enjoy their holidays lest they should get psychologically upset and resort to extreme steps as many did in the past.

The ABVP leaders also made a similar appeal to their parents.
