THRISSUR, MARCH 31. A BJP activist was hacked by a group of unidentified persons at Chittattukara, near Pavaratty, this morning. The police gave the name of the victim as Karimathil Ganeshan (33). He has been admitted to the West Fort High-Tech Hospital in the city. According to reports, a bomb was also hurled at Mr. Ganeshan by assailants who had come in a car. The police said Mr. Ganeshan was an accused in two cases at the Pavaratty police station and one of them related to the attack on a CPI(M) activist earlier.
