TTI student falls to death from train

THRISSUR, MARCH 31. A student studying at the TTI, Edappalli, died when she fell down from a train at Vallappuzha, near Pattambi, this morning.

The police gave the name of the deceased as Malakkode S. Sreeja (24) of Melattur in Malappuram district.

Another student from the same institute, Albin Shah (28) of T. G. Nivas at Parassala, near Thiruvananthapuram, who was travelling with her in the train, also fell down and he has been admitted to the Jubilee Mission Medical College Hospital (JMCH) here.

Even though Ms. Sreeja was also rushed to the JMCH, she died at the hospital.

The accident occurred when the students were travelling in the Shoranur-Nilambur passenger train to the house of Ms. Sreeja at Melattur.
