KANNUR, MARCH 31. A gathering of doctors will be held at Pattuvam on April 24 as part of mobilising health workers in support of the `Human Rights Memorial' convention against capital punishment to be held in Thiruvananthapuram on May 1. The organisers of the gathering, K.K. Rajaram and R. Reena, said at a press conference here today that the signature campaign in support of an anti-death sentence human rights memorial charter to be submitted to the State and Central Governments in connection with the convention had evoked good response from health workers in the district. Doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and sanitation workers in the district hospital here had supported the charter, they said.
