Arjun Munda's copter makes emergency landing

RANCHI, MARCH 31. The helicopter carrying the Jharkhand Chief Minister, Arjun Munda, today made an emergency landing at Chandil, about 100 km from here, due to bad weather, official sources said.

Mr. Munda, who had been to Singhbhum yesterday, was returning to Ranchi when the pilot cut short the flight following a downpour.

"It was a safe-landing and the Chief Minister is reaching Ranchi by road from Jamshedpur," Mr. Munda's security officer told PTI here.
