VISAKHAPATNAM, MARCH 31. Twelve medical shops located in the premises of the King George Hospital and some private hospitals in the city will remain open on April 1 and 2 to avoid inconvenience to the public during the two-day State bandh the drug traders are observing against the introduction of VAT. This arrangement has been made by the Drug Control Administration of the district with the help of Visakhapatnam District Drug Trade Association, according to the Drugs Inspector, Ravi Udaya Bhaskar, here on Thursday. The following medical shops will remain open on Friday and Saturday: Nizam's Chemist and Druggist and the King George Pharmacy in the KGH premises, the medical stores of the Seven Hills Hospital and the Care Hospital, the Mohan Medicals in the Lions Cancer Hospital (Seethammadhara), the medical stores in the Queens NRI Hospital (Seethammadhara) and the Rhea Hospital (KGH down road), and the Apollo Pharmacies on Waltair Main Road, at Kancharapalem, Dondaparthy, Siripuram and MVP Colony.
