Man attempts to tonsure wife?
HYDERABAD,
MARCH 31.
A farmer allegedly attempted to tonsure his wife suspecting her fidelity, at Kolturu village of Shamirpet mandal in Ranga Reddy district, 35 km from here.
The accused, B. Sanjeev used to reportedly harass his wife suspecting her fidelity. The couple got married seven years ago and was childless. "Sanjeev's wife maintained that he was trying to get rid off her since they had no children," the Shamirpet Inspector, Azmatullah Khan, said. On Wednesday evening, Sanjeev saw his wife talking to a youth and started beating her up. She managed to escape and lodged a complaint with the police on Thursday charging Sanjeev with cutting her hair and attempting to tonsure her. Sanjeev is absconding.
