BANGALORE, MARCH 31. The driver of an Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus, a girl child and three-month-old baby boy were killed and 15 were injured when the bus and a lorry collided in Hoskote taluk of Bangalore Rural district on Thursday. The police said that around 4.30 a.m. the lorry bound for Kolar from Bangalore rammed the bus that was on its way to the city from Tirupati. The accident occurred near the Gangapura Gate on National Highway 4 in the Nandagudi Police Station limits. The police gave the name of the bus driver as Bhupathi (35). The girl's name was given as Bhargavi (3). All the three were from Andhra Pradesh, the police said. Among the injured, the condition of Krishna Murthy Adilakshami, Kondamma and Madhavi is said to be serious. They have been admitted to a Bangalore hospital. The Nandagudi Police have seized the lorry. A search is on for the lorry driver.
