The second unit was financed to the extent of Rs. 36 lakhs to benefit 36 persons by Mavoor Road branch of Federal Bank. This unit is gearing up to operate from May first week.

DIC was assisted in imparting training for the formation of clusters in employment schemes by Government Polytechnic, West Hill and Government Women's Polytechnic.

The Polytechnic at West Hill has chalked out a special programme for providing training for projects undertaken by DIC on a group basis.
