THRISSUR, APRIL 1. Education loses its purpose when it becomes a business, the playback singer, K. J. Jesudas, has said. Inaugurating the Chetana Sangeet Natya Academy here this evening, Mr. Jesudas said that teaching was one of the noblest deeds in the world. The Speaker, Therambil Ramakrishnan, inaugurated a dance and music festival organised by the Academy. Among those present on the occasion were the Mayor, K. Radhakrishnan, the chairman of the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy, C. L. Jos; the provincial of the CMI Devamatha Province, Jerome Cherussery; the dean of the Faculty of Music, Indira Kala Music University, Chattisgarh, T. Unnikrishnan, and dean of NISCORT, Delhi, John Edappilly.
