Homage to Haryana Ministers

PONDICHERRY, APRIL 1. All members of the Pondicherry Assembly today observed silence for a couple of minutes in memory of the Haryana Agriculture Minister, Surender Singh, and the Power Minister, Om Prakash Jindal, who were killed in a helicopter crash.

After Question Time, the Speaker M. D. R. Ramachandran, made a reference to the death of the Ministers and expressed grief over the tragedy.
