PUDUKOTTAI, APRIL 1 . The special pulse polio programme, covering children below five years, will be held on April 10 and May 15 at primary health centres, sub-health centres, government and select private hospitals, noon-meal centres and schools. Officials from various government departments including health, medicine, noon meal, education and revenue besides members of voluntary organisations, numbering 5,200, would be involved. Workers would conduct a door-to-door verification and administer the polio drops.
