DUBAI, APRIL 1. Online booking for the new low-cost carrier, Air India Express, is likely to be restored in the next few days, officials have said. The snag in AIE's web-based booking prevented users from reserving seats since the site became operational. "Our technical team is working on the problem and things would be normal in a couple of days,'' Jaishree Ramachandran, AI marketing manager for Dubai and Northern Emirates, told The Gulf Today. She said the "teething problem" would be rectified well before the April 29 launch of the airline. UNI
