Kottayam has it easy
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM,
APRIL 2.
Kottayam girls began their title defence in the 32nd State mini basketball championship with an easy 26-10 win over their Group `A' rival Ernakulam at the De Paul HSS court here on Saturday.
In the opening match of the boys' section, Thrissur defeated Alappuzha 46-19 in Pool `D', after leading 11-5 at half-time.
The results (preliminary league): Boys: Pool D: Thrissur 46 (Shebin Shamsuddin 18) bt Alappuzha 19.
