Special enumeration drive today

TIRUCHI, APRIL 2. A special drive for enumeration of voters in hutment dwellings and households, which have not been assigned door numbers, would be held in the Tiruchi-I and Tiruchi-II Assembly constituencies tomorrow as part of the on-going intensive revision of electoral rolls, according to a Press release from the Corporation Commissioner, Harmander Singh.

Enumerators would undertake the door-to-door exercise with the assistance of local representatives of political parties. Voters in the households were requested to provide all relevant information to the enumerators during the exercise and also produce their elector photo identity cards.

The enumeration would be held at the following places on the day:

Ariyamangalam zone: Selva Vinayagar Kovil Street, East Boulevard Road (South), Karuvattupettai, Kamala Nehru Nagar, Virugupettai and Bharathi Nagar in ward no.14; Krishnapuram, Anna Nagar and Municipal Colony in Sathyamurthy Nagar and Kamaraj Nagar in ward 15; Jail Street Kannan Thoppu, Jail Street Kuppankulam, Jail Pettai and Pillaimanagar in ward 19; Chinna Otta Street, Kalpalayam, Orukattan Malai Road, Valluvar Street and Periapalayam in ward 20; Dharmanathapuram in ward 22; Khajapettai Sakkiliyar Street in ward 25 and Mudaliar Chathiram Railway Porambokku, Bells Ground, Mudukupatti Railway Purambokku, Khajapettai Main Road Railway Purambokku and Khajapettai Anna Nagar in ward 26.

K.Abishekapuram zone - Melkalnayakkan Street Nova Colony in ward 60; Nawab Thottam (Renga Nagar), Perumal Kovil Street and Thirthanthoni Cholapuram in ward 57; Sathya Nagar in ward 58; behind V.V.Theatre in Ponnagar, Kaludaikkumparai, Kamarajapuram Paraipakkam, Ponnagar II Main Road Kamarajapuram, Joshua Street, Ram Nagar and Manapparai Mainroad in ward 45 and Chinnasamy Nagar in ward 49.

Srirangam Zone - Bhoologanathaswamy Temple Street Corporation lands in ward 17 and Draupadi Amman Temple Street, Annai Sathya Nagar and Sanjay Gandhi Nagar in ward 9.

Golden Rock Zone - Khaja Nagar and Ceylon Labour Colony (Mannarpuram) in ward 43.
