Sri Lanka's tour postponed
MUMBAI,
APRIL 3.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has postponed Sri Lanka's tour of India due to Sri Lanka Cricket's inability to confirm the itinerary.
Sri Lanka was scheduled to play five one-day internationals immediately after its tour of New Zealand. The BCCI's Tour Programme & Fixtures Committee meeting lasted less than 10 minutes here on Sunday. The BCCI Jt. Hon. Secretary Mr. Gautam Dasgupta said the committee felt that the five matches could be held at a `mutually convenient time' to the Boards of the two countries. Our Special Correspondent
