ANANTAPUR, APRIL 4. Puttaparthi would be developed with an estimated Rs. 24 crores for the 80th birthday celebrations of Satya Saibaba, the Chairman of Sri Satya Sai Urban Development Authority (SUDA), Kota Satyanarayana, stated at Puttaparthi today. Talking to newspersons at Puttaparthi he said the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, had agreed to sanction the amount at the earliest. A four-lane road would be laid from Prashanti Nilayam railway station to Puttaparthi. As part of beautification of the spiritual town a necklace road would be laid and gardens developed.
