Convincing win for HMCC

HARIPAD, APRIL 4. Holder Masters CC (HMCC), Thiruvananthapuram, began its campaign in the eighth K.K. Sreenivasan memorial all-Kerala prize-money cricket tournament with a convincing six-wicket win over Arikkadu CC, Kottayam, here on Monday.

However, a sudden thundershower forced the postponement of the second match of the day between Cycle Brand-Kids CC, Thiruvananthapuram, and Skylark CC, Alappuzha.

The scores: Arikkadu CC 136 for six in 20 overs (Shine 59 not out) lost to Masters CC 137 for four in 15 overs (Sandeep 43 not out).
