Kannada Sammelana planned
NEW DELHI,
APRIL 4.
A two-day conference-cum-seminar titled "22nd National Kannada Sammelana" will be held here from April 9.
Organised by Dehali Kannadiga, the conference will be inaugurated by the member of the National Human Rights Commission, Justice Shivaraj V. Patil. The former Union Defence Minister, George Fernandes, senior advocate of Supreme Court, K.N. Bhat, and the Chairman of IDBI, V.P. Shetty, would receive awards on the occasion.
A large number of delegates including writers, artists, professors and academicians from across the country will attend the conference and participate in a seminar on language, literature and culture of Karnataka.
