Partly cloudy sky

Partly cloudy sky with a maximum temperature hovering around 37 degrees Celsius has been forecast for Tuesday. The city recorded a maximum temperature of 37.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 22.2 degrees Celsius on Monday. The relative humidity stood at 22 per cent.

CII session on

innovation

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), State unit, is holding a `public session' on `Innovate to compete: focus on innovation, not just ideas' at the Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre at Madhapur on April 6 to coincide with its silver jubilee.

According to a press release, the highlight will be a `live video conferencing' with Arun Nigavekar, Chairman, University Grants Commission.

Holiday for rythu bazaar

The Erragadda model rythu bazaar will be closed on April 9 on account of Ugadi. However, the bazaar will function on April 8, Friday, for the convenience of consumers and farmers, according to a press release.

Yogi's talk on effortless living

World-renowned yogi Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev will conduct a two-day `inner engineering for effortless living' programme in the city on April 9 and 10. He will give an introductory talk on April 8 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan at 6.30 p.m. The programme will be conducted at ITC Kakatiya Sheraton Hotel, Begumpet.

This was announced here on Monday by K. Vishveshwar Reddy, managing director, Citadel Health Ltd, Srimani Rao, a volunteer of the Coimbatore-based Isha Foundation, which is conducting the programme, and Swati Sanghi of Sanghi Polyester.

E-seva centres open today

All the E-seva centres and RTC E-seva centres will work from 9 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. on Tuesday though a holiday has been declared on account of Babu Jagjivan Ram's birth anniversary, according to a press release.

Ugadi contests

The Saiva Maha Peetham will conduct competitions in recitation of poems from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on April 9 on the occasion of Ugadi. Interested people can contact on 98480-51387 and 98493-91985 and register their names before April 7, a press release said.
