Sir, From all accounts, the Government seems determined to give foolproof security to the passengers of the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus on April 7. But is it not taking a heavy risk knowing fully well how difficult it is to prevent the terrorists from striking? Even if everything goes well on Thursday, can heavy security be provided on all the subsequent runs?

Sir, The repeated threats from terrorist outfits show their frustration at the progressing ties and desperation to disrupt them. Their support base, it is obvious, has dwindled.
