Karnataka Bank revises rates
MANGALORE: Karnataka Bank has increased interest rates on its non-resident (external) rupee deposit (NRE) scheme with effect from April 1. The interest rate for NRE term deposits for one year to less than two years has been revised to 4.35 per cent from 4 per cent, for two years to less than three years to 4.70 per cent (4.40 per cent) and three years and up to five years to 4.90 per cent (4.60 per cent). Interest rate on non-resident (external) rupee (NRE) savings deposits has been revised from 2.80 per cent per annum to 3.40 per cent per annum.
