IIHT to set up centres in China

NEW DELHI: After consolidating its position in India, IT training company, Indian Institute of Hardware Technology (IIHT), has decided to begin its operation in China where it will be setting up 100 education delivery centres by 2007.

According to the CEO of the Bangalore-based firm, Keshav Raju N., IIHT would invest $2 million in China during the next two years while its first training centre would be opened in Shanghai by October this year. IIHTwas also planning to expand its operations to mini metros and smaller towns. IIHT had already entered into tie-ups with leading IT companies like Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Red Hat and Novell.
