Allahabad Bank issue opens amid strike call

KOLKATA,
APRIL 5.
The second public issue of Allahabad Bank opens tomorrow amid a day's strike call given by two of its workmen unions protesting against the `privatisation' move.
Responding to a question in this regard at a press meet here, S. K. Goel, Executive Director, said the call had been given by the two workmen unions affiliated to the Bank Employees Federation of India and the All India Bank Employees Association. The price has been fixed between Rs. 75 and Rs. 82.
