Facile win for PESIT

MYSORE, APRIL 5. Helped by a five-wicket haul by Ramgopal (five for 27), PES Institute of Technology registered a facile 85-run win over BNMIT in the Visveswaraiah Technological University inter-collegiate cricket tournament for Bangalore South Engineering colleges, conducted by Ghousia College of Engineering at its college grounds in Ramnagaram on Tuesday.

The scores:

PESIT 252 for five in 30 overs (Sandeep 57, Nishanth 47) bt BNMIT 167 in 27.5 overs (Karthik 59, Ramgopal five for 27).

Shirdi Sai Engineering College 85 in 25.4 overs (B.S. Pavan four for 12) lost to Ghousia College of Engineering 86 for three in 12.5 overs (Kashyap 44).
