V. Balaram to head `I' group panel

THRISSUR, APRIL 5. The former Wadakkanchery MLA V. Balaram will be chairman of the District Coordination Committee of the `I' group in Thrissur.

Mr. Balaram, who had resigned as MLA to enable the then Electricity Minister K. Muraleedharan to contest elections to the Assembly had unsuccessfully contested as party nominee in Kozhikode in the last Parliament elections.
