NELLORE, APRIL 5. The agitation by a group of women, demanding the removal of a liquor shop in Tupilipalem village of Vakadu mandal, entered the fifth day on Tuesday. The women have been protesting against the setting up of the shop, as it "breached peace" in the area. However, the officials have not responded to their demands. The agitators were all the more miffed when they came to know that the shop's licence had been renewed. The dharna before the shop soon gained strength, with a number of people supporting the agitators.
