CHANDIGARH, APRIL 5. The Punjab Government today approved Rs 10.04 crore for completion of ongoing projects for the commemoration of 300th year of martyrdom of 40 Sikh warriors, who had sacrificed their lives to protect their religion, at Muktsar The approval was given at a high-level meeting to review the progress of infrastructure development work including construction of four gates (Rs 60 lakh), sports stadium in a local college (Rs 1.1 crore), memorial park (Rs 1.91 crore), water and sewerage (Rs. 3 crore) repair and maintenance of roads in municipal limits of Muktsar (Rs 2.83 crore), an official spokesman said. Chief Minister Amarinder Singh who presided over the meeting, said Markfed would execute construction work of four commemorative gates stadium in Government College and Memorial Park.
