Kesavadev Award presented

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, APRIL 5. The first P. Kesavadev Award, instituted by the P. Kesavadev Trust, has been presented to Indrababu, Sub-Editor, Kerala Kaumudi.

The award, comprising a purse of Rs.10,000, citation and a statuette, was presented to Dr. Indrababu, by the Minister for Public Works, M.K. Muneer, at a function held here today. He bagged the award for his collection of poems `Natyasala.'

At the function, the Marxist ideologue P. Govinda Pillai delivered the first P. Kesavadev memorial lecture.

The trust chairperson, Seethalakshmi Kesavadev, and the managing trustee, Jyothi Dev, were present.
