Around the City

Generally cloudy sky forecast

The sky will be generally cloudy on Wednesday, according to the forecast for Bangalore. Rain is likely towards evening. The maximum temperature will be around 31 degrees Celsius.

On Tuesday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 29 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 21 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 80 per cent.

At the airport, the maximum and minimum temperatures were 30.4 degrees Celsius and 20.8 degrees Celsius, respectively. The relative humidity was 88 per cent.

Pranic healing camp

Engineering

workshop

Shirdi Sai Engineering College will organise a day-long workshop on "Mechanical vibration," on its premises on Wednesday at 9 a.m. S.M. Shashidhara, Chairman, Board of Studies, Visvesvaraya Technological University, will conduct the workshop.

Summer

camp

The Indian Institute of World Culture will organise a summer camp in May for students, housewives and the elderly. It will include educational programmes, crafts for children, photography, jewellery making, and spoken English. Those interested can register their names on April 14 with the institute on Sri B.P. Contest for teachers

The Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technical Museum is planning to organise "Enact a play," a science drama script-writing competition for high school teachers, on its premises.
