Tamil Nadu leads

JAIPUR, APRIL 7. Tamil Nadu was ahead by 34 IMPs against WBBA `A' (127-93), with only a session remaining, in the final of the National bridge championship, for the Khosla Trophy, being held here.

At the end of the first session, Tamil Nadu only had a 6 IMP lead (35-29). However, in the second, Tamil Nadu added 32 IMP (52-20) to widen the margin to 38. In the penultimate session, WBBA `A' decreased the gap by 4 IMP.

Earlier, WBBA `A' had qualified for the final beating Khosla's team in the second semifinal.
