HUBLI, APRIL 7. The Hubli police have invoked the Goonda (Prevention) Act against two persons and arrested them on the charge of manufacturing illicit liquor. The arrested have been identified as Kashinath Kheemsa Khode (45) and Sanjiv Nagusa Katwe, residents of Kamaripet, Hubli. The two have been sent to Gulbarga jail, according to a release issued here. While there are 18 cases against Kashinath Khode, Nagusa Katwe has 21 cases against him in connection with illicit liquor and its transportation. The police said the two continued their activities after coming out on bail.
