Minority college test `not transparent'

By Our Staff Reporter

BANGALORE, APRIL 7. The Justice S. Venkataraman Committee for overseeing the entrance test conducted by the Association of Private Professional Colleges has refused to recognise the entrance test conducted by the Karnataka Religious Linguistic and Minority Professional Colleges' Association for admission to postgraduate medical and dental degree and diploma courses for 2005-06.

The committee said it had examined the test procedure and the merit list published for admission to postgraduate medical and dental courses during 2005-06 and found that it was "not fair and transparent." The test was conducted on February 27 and the committee reviewed the test on April 6.
