Senior police officer Kiran Bedi, who was the chief guest on the occasion, urged AWWA to take up the cause of education of the girl child.
Inter-civilization Dialogue meet
The Union Home Minister, Shivraj Patil, will inaugurate the conference while the chief guest will be Ali Juma Mohammad Abdul Wahhab, grand mufti of Egypt. The event will be chaired by Justice A M Ahmadi, and Dr. Anwar Ibrahim, former Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, will deliver the keynote address.
