NAGERCOIL, APRIL 7. The police are on the look out for some un-identified persons, who broke open a jewellery shop and decamped with 16 kg of silver ornaments in the early hours of Thursday. Lakshmanan (27) of Teppakulam near here was running the jewellery shop at Vadaserry. The theft came to light when he opened the shop for business on Thursday morning. Based on a complaint lodged by Lakshmanan, the police are investigating.
