Taj Business Hotels to expand

CHENNAI, APRIL 7. The Taj Business Hotels plans to put up exclusive hotels, two each in Mumbai, Gurgaon near New Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai to cater In order to cater to the growing numbers in the business class segment.

"Our new ventures will be located nearer the central business districts and the hi-tech information technology corridor and closer to the Airport", said Jyoti Narang, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Taj Business Hotels, after formally launching a new Pan Asian Restaurant -- "Hip Asia" and a contemporary Bar -- "Distil" at Hotel Taj Connemara in Chennai.

"Apart from these exclusive business class ventures, we have an on-going refurbishment plan of the restaurants and bars in the existing hotels involving an investment of Rs.50 crores this year, Ms.Narang said adding that these would reflect the local traditional culture.
