Drug for diabetic foot ulcers from DRL

HYDERABAD: Dr. Reddy's Laboratories announced the launch of Plermin (generic name: Recombinant Human Platelet Derived Growth Factor — rhPDGF), the first drug to be launched in India for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. The product would be available as a gel in 7.5 gm and 15 gm tubes.
