THRISSUR, APRIL 7. A 40-year old man and his 13-year old son were arrested by the Thrissur West police in connection with the theft of Rs. 50,000 from a house at Puthurkkara near here. The police gave the names of the arrested as Kuruthukulam Veettil Johnson of Pullazhy and his son Sijo. According to the police, the son had stolen the amount by breaking open the backdoor of the house of Pallikkal Suresh at Puthurkkara on April 4. The son then gave the money to his father. The police said the father had allegedly deployed the son for some other thefts earlier also.
