IUML meeting begins today

MALAPPURAM,
APRIL 7.
The stage is set for a three-day conference of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) here. The seventh district conference of the party, beginning tomorrow, is projected to mobilise lakhs of supporters. Party leaders said that the meet would be as good as a State conference.
Syed Hyderali Shihab Thangal, district president of the Muslim League, will hoist the party flag at the Kottappadi grounds at 4 p.m. tomorrow.
G. M. Banatwallah, national president of the IUML, will inaugurate the conference soon after.
