HYDERABAD, APRIL 7. The inordinate delay in the announcement of results by the Central University for its P.G. Diploma in Television Production (PGDTVP) course has annoyed students, who feel the delay was unnecessary given the few papers to be valued. Examinations for the one-year course were completed on December 12, 2004 and students are still waiting for results. "It should not take four months to value two papers of 60 students and that is what is hurting us. Moreover, this is not expected from such a prestigious University," Anant Seth, a student waiting for the results, says. The university authorities attribute the delay to some technical problems. "The results are ready and they will be released on Monday," an official of the university promised.
