KOCHI, APRIL 7. A district-level rally will be held in Fort Kochi on Friday in connection with the Pulse Polio programme on April 10. The rally will begin from Fort Kochi bus stand and end at the taluk hospital where a public meeting will be inaugurated by A.V. George, Deputy Mayor. The programme will be presided over by K.J. Sohan, former Kochi Mayor. Nursing students, Anganwadi workers, members of Kudumbasree and non-governmental organisations and health staff from the Kochi Corporation will participate in the rally. The rally is to emphasise the need for total participation in the national programme for polio eradication.
