Four more cops suspended

NEW DELHI, APRIL 7. Four more Central Industrial Security Force personnel have been placed under suspension for allegedly beating up an Air Canada passenger at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here on Monday night. Earlier, a sub-inspector was suspended soon after the incident came to light.

The incident had occurred around 9-45 p.m. on Monday when a Canadian national of Indian origin, Shamsher Singh Rai, was allegedly beaten up by the CISF personnel while trying to enter the airport on an open Air Canada ticket. The CISF personnel allegedly took Mr. Rai to their control room and punched him on his face several times.
