Malviya Club posts win

NEW DELHI, APRIL 8. Abhishek Kaushik (54 and three for 38) enabled Malviya Club defeat Vidya Jain Cricket Academy by 35 runs to enter the pre-quarterfinals of the Om Nath Sood memorial cricket tournament at the Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce ground here on Friday.

The scores:

Malviya 282 for six in 40 overs (Sachin Khurana 69, Neeraj Chawla 64, Hemant Singh 61 n.o., Abhishek Kaushik 54) beat VJCA 247 in 37.1 overs (Virat Kohli 113 n.o., Akash Chauhan 50, Abhishek Kaushik three for 37).
