SIVAGANGAI, APRIL 8. Yadava Industrial Centre, Tiruppathur won the overall championship with a tally of 55 points for the fifth successive year in the Sivagangai District inter-Private I.T.C athletic meet here on Friday. Vallambar Industrial Centre, Kottaiyur finished second with 25 points. S. Jegadeesan of Yadava I.T.C won the individual championship with a total of 10 points. The results (all winners): 100m: Mohamed Asik, Vallambar ITC; 200m: T. Siva (Srivari I.T.C. Manalur); 400m: S. Jegadeesan; 800m: S. Jegadeedan; 1500m: V. Alagesan (Yadava I.T.C); Long jump: V. Dayakaran (Vairam I.T.C. Devakottai); High jump: M. Suresh, Srivari ITC; Shotput: Vasanth (Sethu Baskara, ITC, Kandramanickam); Javelin: S.P.
