Narrow win for Associated CC

TIRUCHI, APRIL 8. S. Balaji's effort (91 & three for 28) went in vain as Tiruchi Medical Representatives Cricket Club lost to Associated Cricket Club by one wicket in a Tiruchi District Cricket Association-Indian Bank III division league match here recently.

I Division: Neptune CC 148 (Prabusankar 40) lost to Customs and Central Excise RC 151 for three (Surendradas 78).

Bishop Heber College `B' 171 for six (Prasanna 50) lost to Map CC 172 for seven (Sathishkumar 47, Giridharan 39, Vadivel four for 35).

Regional Engineering College 121 bt Southern Railway Institute 97.

II Division: Zephyrs CC 155 (Prabhakar four for 35) lost to Majestic CC 156 for nine.

Breeze CC 101 (T. Krishnasamy four for 19) lost to Jaguar CC 105 for two (T.N. Krishnan 46).

III Division: Tiruchi Medical Representative CC 235 (S. Balaji 91) lost to Associated CC 237 for nine (J. Sathishkumar 69).

Galaxy CC 206 (K. Jagannathan 50, Selva Ganapathy four for 27) bt National College 196 (Selvaganapathy 62, Balaji 51).

OFSA 124 (Udhyakumar 41, G. Sriram four for 24) lost to Gifted XI CC 131 for four (K.K.V.A. Jagannathan 68).

IV Division: Manapparai CC 168 for nine (Saravanan 60, Tilak Chander five for 29) bt Saranathan College of Engineering 130 (Praveen six for 28, including a hat-trick).

Dolphins CC 151 bt Merry Gold CC 134 for seven (Prabhu 63 not out).
