CCL records Rs. 900 crore profit

CHENNAI:, The Central Coalfields Ltd. has achieved its revised coal production target by producing 37.40 million tonnes in 2004-05. It has earned a gross profit of Rs. 900 crores. The output in the previous year was 37.33 million tonnes. In coking coal washery, there was an increase of 1.7 lakh tonnes. Last year, it was 2.47 million tonnes. This year, it was 2.65 million tonnes.
